Signs of New York continued...

                                         (a)

                                         (b)
These signs are from a poet who stood at a corner in Greenwich Village...mostly in the evening...I passed by several times and each night he had written something different...the messages/descriptions were mostly obscure, cryptic like...one from the day after the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman...the other is what N.Y. does to you...brings you to continuous moments of 'upholding'...embracing you as I was on the very same corner...an unremarkable street corner but somehow the very names capable of returning one to that 'moment of upholding'on the Avenue of the Americas.

  1. Thank you for seeing these signs, the sign makers and realizing how important they are.
